The BEGE Awards identifies the achievements of operators and suppliers from across the igaming industry. BEGE’s broader two-day conference has quickly become the Balkans’ most significant trade summit for central European and our CIS-facing companies. The winners were announced on Wednesday 20th November at a closing gala, held in the Bulgarian capital.

Fresh from recent wins for excellence at the CEEGC, EGR and RGW Awards 2019, the award follows a particularly productive year for Digitain, which has seen it expand its global footprint from Europe, through Asia and on to Africa and LatAm, with the industry’s most flexible, scalable and efficient sports betting platform.

Leading multi-channel sports betting and casino platform provider Digitain has announced its appointment of Simon Westbury as Head of International Business Development.

Capping a particularly successful week, which saw Digitain nominated for a host of EGR B2B Awards as well as winning in the ‘Skill Games Supplier’ category, Westbury is set to spearhead the company’s ambitious plans for strategic expansion across multiple markets.

He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise, having worked at numerous leading gaming companies. He most recent role was Chief Commercial Officer at VSoftCo where he successfully grew VSoftCo’s customer base, strengthening relationships with partners and elevating the brand to become a stand-alone leading supplier within the virtual sports space.
