The European Lotteries is the European umbrella organization of national lotteries operating games of chance, including sports betting. The membership was initially achieved on a provisional basis in February 2025 and has now been officially confirmed by the EL General Assembly on September 17, 2025. Digitain announced a company milestone with the confirmation by the European Lotteries (EL) of its Provisional Associate Membership. Final approval is by the EL General Assembly in September.

This is part of Digitain Group expansion strategy and follows last years’ associate membership in CIBELAE, the Ibero-American Corporation of State Lotteries and Betting.

Soffer previously served as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Galaxsys, which is part of the Digitain Group of Companies, for two and a half years.

Today, Digitain announced a significant milestone in its continued market expansion in Central and South America, with its associate membership in CIBELAE, the Ibero-American Corporation of State Lotteries and Betting.

The IBERO-AMERICAN CORPORATION OF STATE LOTTERIES AND BETTING (CIBELAE) was created in October 1988. It is an international, non-governmental organisation and professional association of state lottery and gaming organisations. CIBELAE plays a crucial role in facilitating knowledge in the management of gambling and lotteries, corporate social responsibility, and responsible gaming for all its members, and its influence is primarily in South and Central America.

Digitain has expanded its presence in European regulated market by obtaining a B2B license from the Hellenic Gaming Commission.
