About the program
M1TQ hackathon & acceleration program is an exclusive opportunity to turn your idea into reality!
This program is specially designed to boost innovative technological solutions and tech entrepreneurship, provide resources for talents to implement ideas and empower the Armenian startup ecosystem. The program starts with a 48-hour hackathon, followed by a 2-month acceleration program.
M1TQ startup incubation & acceleration program firstly took place in 2021 giving a chance for 8 startups to go through an intensive 12-week incubation program, which ended with a Demo Day. The Demo Day was followed by grants and investment contracts with some of the startups.
This year, the program is powered by Garage48 in the framework of Digitain’s DigiTown project.
About Garage48 hackathon
Garage48 hackathon is a weekend-long intensive development event to work out new web and mobile applications or novel services and products to bring new startups to life. The hackathon starts on Friday, with one goal in mind - to have a working prototype by Sunday to present to the jury. At the end of the hackathon, a pitching event will take place. The best teams will go through a 12-week acceleration program which will end up with a Demo Day to pitch in front of venture capital companies such as Karma ventures, Superangel, Tera Ventures, EstBAN, as well as international and local investors.
The working language of the hackathon and acceleration program is English.
Who can join
M1TQ hackathon and acceleration program is open both for university students and already working specialists and professionals from different backgrounds such as EdTech, FinTech, GreenTech, E-Commerce, Al & Machine Learning, SaaS or any tech-related field.
Ideas across all sectors are welcome at the program. We invite Business Visionaries, Software Engineers, Marketing Professionals, Project Managers, Educators, Web/App Developers, UX/UI Designers, Entrepreneurs, Product/Service Developers, Data Scientists, and other interested individuals with the desire to develop and create change-making products and services with their knowledge and skills.

How to apply
You can register as an individual or a team. You can register with an idea and put together a team of skilled individuals who are looking for an idea to work on, or if you don't have an idea, you are welcome to join a team with an idea you like.
The applications for the M1TQ Hackathon & Acceleration program are open until May 15th.
