Digitain Announces “We Know the Player” Concept, Putting Player Understanding at the Heart of What We Build

We are excited to introduce “We Know the Player”, a new positioning concept built on more than two decades of experience across markets, products and player journeys, and reflecting the understanding that shapes our technology, products and solutions for operators.
For more than two decades, we have been building technology for the iGaming industry across different markets, products, and player journeys. Over that time, we have built more than a broad technology portfolio.
We have built knowledge.
Knowledge of how players make decisions, interact with products, respond to friction, seek greater control and personalisation, and what influences engagement and retention. But behind every product, every feature and every interaction, there is a person.
The player.
That understanding sits at the heart of We Know the Player.
Understanding Comes Before Technology
In iGaming, it is easy to focus on products and features.
But products and features exist because someone is using them.
A Cash Out responds to the way people think about risk and control. An Edit Bet responds to a very human moment: making a decision, then wanting to change it.
A payment journey is about more than processing a transaction. Familiarity, speed and friction can all influence whether a player continues or drops out.
Every interaction tells us something: why a player makes a choice, why they change their mind, why they stay engaged, why they leave, and what makes an experience feel natural.
The technology matters.
But the understanding behind the technology matters just as much.
Over the years, we have learned not only how iGaming technology should work, but how people behave within it. That knowledge helps shape what we build and how we support our partners.
One Player. One Journey.
Players do not experience an iGaming platform as a collection of separate products.
They experience one journey.
That means understanding the player cannot belong to one product or one part of the business. It has to stretch across the entire experience.
For us, that understanding runs through Sportsbook, CRM, Payments, Mobile, Casino, Retail and our wider technology portfolio.
Different products. One player. One connected journey.
Knowing the Player Means Looking at the Whole Picture
Knowing the player also means recognising when behaviour changes, understanding where risk may appear, and knowing when a player may need greater protection.
The same understanding that helps us create better experiences should also help support responsible play and stronger risk management.
Growth and protection are both part of understanding the player properly.
That is why We Know the Player is not simply about knowing what players want.
It is about understanding the person behind every interaction — and using that understanding responsibly to build better technology and better experiences.
The Knowledge Behind Our Leadership
We have always been Built to Lead.
That statement reflects who we are: our ambition, our mindset, and our drive to keep moving forward.
But leadership needs something behind it.
For us, that is knowledge.
Knowledge built through years of experience. Knowledge shaped across different markets. Knowledge gained from understanding how players interact with technology every day.
As Ani Mkrtchyan, Chief Sales Officer of Digitain, explains:
“For more than two decades, every market, product and player journey has taught us something. ‘We Know the Player’ reflects that accumulated understanding. It is about knowing the person behind every interaction and using that knowledge to build better technology for our partners. That is what gives real meaning to ‘Built to Lead.’”
Built to Lead is who we are.
We Know the Player is what our leadership is built on.
Because the better we understand the player, the better we can build for our partners.
We know the player, and we build from there.
